I wonder how many people know that Enterprise really started back in 1957 from Jack Taylor's used car lot in St Louis. He then named his rental car business Enterprise for the World War II US Navy aircraft carrier that he served on, dedicated in honor of all those who served with him and in memory of those who didn't return. Later he extended those dedications to all who were in the US and Allied Forces of that war.
