We decided to try Galaxy on the second day it opened 5 years ago, or was it 6 aleady? Since the site had been under 15 or 20 names and operators since 1972 we were cautious then extremely pleasantly surprised to learn that Chris and Aphrodite had been in the diner business for many years. Among their prior diners was the Traveller's in Dover which was packed 24/7 until the state took it for Route 46 widening and the Whippany Diner on Route 10 but their most recent had been Land and Sea on Route 10 in Randolph. His cousin has the famous Tick Tock in Clifton and her sister has Jefferson Diner in Lake Hopatcong, both of which have been on the Food Network channel. Over the years we've had many great meals at Galaxy on the average of 2 to 4 tmes monthly.
