So here is the deal...the parking lot is now part of Pay to Play. The districts Sports budget is a SMALL portion of the total budget, yet the district, basically "extorts" more money from parents, all of whom already seeing nearly 71% of their taxes go for the school district.
The Mayor, Council, BOE and the KEA, all need to get a reality check, and tighten their budgets, AS IN REDUCE THEM. Public employees, yes, Teachers and Administrators too, need to Contribute MORE to their healthcare costs. I pay 100 percent, and I go livid when I hear that some are paying 0-1.5%. Further, if the Administrators were governed by a "Salary Cap", we would not lose quality of candidates, they would then need to compete for the job, just like the MAJORITY of citizens, who have no guarantee of a job, much less almost free healthcare.
