DeLazier Memorial Field

DeLazier Memorial Field is the only recreation field owned by the Borough of Bloomingdale. It is located betweenMore Chestnut and Ballston Streets. The field is mostly used for recreational baseball, but other sports are also played there, including recreational basketball which is played on the adjoining courts. The field was named after Bloomingdale's first mayor, Isaac DeLazier.

The DPW will collect batteries, tires, newspapers, white metal appliances, metal and comingling containers, but will not pick up grass clippings. The department is led by a superintendent and assistant superintendent.
