Colts Crush Red Hawks in Homecoming Game

The Kinnelon Colts beat the Parsippany High School Red Hawks 49-10 in Kinnelon's homecoming game Saturday night.  Leading into halftime, the parents of Kinnelon High School graduate Alex Vitaro who passed away from a tragic accident this summer, were presented with Vitaro's former football jersey. Vitaro was known as "Nails" by his teammates. Also during halftime, the high school's 2011 homecoming king and queen Dan Leavy and Nicole DiRussa were crowned.

Also Lakeland H.S. is having a fundraiser on Saturday, Sept 17 at the school - a car wash; also Butler Jeep, Chrysler, Nissan is having a "test drive" day; and anyone who takes one of the vehicles out for a spin - $20 will be donated to the various school organizations/clubs.
