As the murder trial of Amalia Mirasola continues in Morristown this week, the woman accused of shooting her husband to death in 2010 said she responded after Carl Mirasola first said he was going to kill her. Amalia Mirasola, 47, is accused of shooting her husband, Carl Mirasola, six times inside their Roosevelt Avenue home on May 22, 2010. Carl Mirasola was 43 when he died. Amalia Mirasola became emotional when her attorney asked her when the last time she saw her kids was, according to nj.com, the answer being that she had not seen them since the day her husband was killed.
