Movie Filmed in Bloomingdale to Premiere in Kinnelon
Scenes of 'Bad Parents' were taped at the Walter T. Bergen School with local extras.
Bloomingdale is making it to the big screen and the community will get a special opportunity to see a kid-friendly version of the movie filmed in the borough last year at Clearview Kinnelon 11. The film, "Bad Parents," is a comedy about a group of parents who act up from the sidelines of their kids' soccer games. The movie was directed by Bergen County resident Caytha Jentis and stars Janeane Garofalo, Cheri Oteri, Michael Boatman, Chris Titus, Bill Sage and others. Producers of the film were made aware of the scenery Bloomingdale had to offer through the Passaic County Film Commission and Bloomingdale's liaison, Lynne Ferrara.
