Fitness Center Makes Phys Ed Fun
Phys Ed Fitness combines cardio and strength training in small classes.
Resistance is a good thing if you're using it in one of the classes at Phys Ed Fitness in Kinnelon. According to Owner Paul McGorry, resistance training through use of power bands helps train a person's core musculature better than alternative options. McGorry said use of resistance bands makes up about 75 percent of his 45-minute exercise classes. Phys Ed Fitness opened in mid-September, and so far, has seen a successful start, according to McGorry. The fitness center has about 30 regular members who sign up for blocks of classes and come as frequently as three times a week to strengthen their bodies and tone their cores.
