3 Vying for 2 Kinnelon Council Seats
Carol Sventy to run against incumbents in June primary.
Three candidates, all Republicans, have filed petitions to run for two Kinnelon Council seats in the June primary. Incumbents Andrew SanFilippo and Dan O'Dougherty filed, as well as Carol Sventy, leader of the borough's Open Space Advisory Committee. Candidates had until 4 p.m. Monday to file petitions with Borough Clerk Elizabeth Sebrowski. Additionally, candidates filed petitions to run for County Committee. Those who filed are: Casha is Kinnelon's Republican party chairman and Freda is a current councilman.
