Field trip was part of Financial and Career Planning curriculum.
A group of Kinnelon High School students got a taste of the various vocations that are necessary for the New York Jets and Giants to play football. Students in Financial and Career Planning classes at the school visited MetLife Stadium recently to expose them to the many financial business operations and jobs needed to get the teams onto the field every week. “I try to bring a little bit of the real world into the lessons to connect what they’re learning in the classroom to everyday life,” said Dafna Garrahy, a business education teacher. Students toured the 82,000-seat facility and learned about the different types of vocations available at the stadium after Garrahy and her colleague, Anna Ellington, took them on the trip. “They learned …

Andretta, who not only won the county championship for the discus, has qualified to compete at the New Balance Nationals in June. He will compete in the discus, hammer throw, and shot put in the national competition. He is one of the top 50 discus competitors in the country. “I want to get that state sectional title,” said Andretta, a University of Mommouth commit, who is quick to thank his family, …
