Boonton Ave. Retail Complex Proposal Moves Forward

One-story restaurant and retail plaza could take the place of former Marco's Market.

All five members present at Tuesday's Kinnelon Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting unanimously approved a bulk variance for a proposed retail and restaurant complex to be built on Boonton Avenue in the space of the former Marco's Market by HMR Properties, LLC. The board heard three hours worth of testimony on Tuesday relating to changes made to the application since the applicant's, Michael Rubin, first approached the land use …

I agree with John, this town ain't big enough for the type of venues Badan is proposing. What this town needs is more rec fields! A park with a playscape or dog park would be wonderful! While we're at it, for what Kinnelon is trying to market itself as, an upper middle/upper class town, and I know the council doesn't have control over them but can we get rid of the Pathmark? maybe re-do Meadtown…   more ›
