A state Superior Court jury tasked with reaching a verdict in the murder trial of Butler woman Amalia Mirasola did not come to a decision after a full day of deliberations Wednesday. The jury spent the time listening to recorded witness testimony again, according to nj.com. Amalia Mirasola, 47, is accused of shooting her husband, Carl Mirasola, six times inside their Roosevelt Avenue home on May 22, 2010. When she took the witness stand last week, Mirasola said she shot her husband in self-defense and that he had threatened to take her children away from her.
