Agreed that there are far worse 19 year olds in Wayne. But he was involved in a very public story line that completely divided the town. right or wrong, it did happen. Then there was the air horn incident at the HS, followed by 2 arrests. If he was not involved in the original assault, this would not be a story. But he was involved and there you have it. And if he is arrested again, it will be in the news again. that is our society now a days. Get used to it.

Reply@Rob R - The "alleged fight"? Hmmm, if it was alleged then why did all but one plead guilty? hmm. And you do not have to read the story if you choose, that is up to you. And a local 19 yr old arrested 3 times in 18 months most likely would make an article somewhere. There are many other things about this kid that have NOT been posted on news sites. I will agree, his actions and lack of judgement have absolutely ZERO to do with the Wayne Hills Football program or the previous coach, who was a great coach. @Pad - I disagree, at 19 his future is not ruined. If his parents would start making him take responsibility for his actions, he would learn from them. He is young and hopefully has a bright future.

Why? He is an adult, It is in the news, and we are free to voice our opinions about his lack of judgement and his parents lack of parenting.

well said Sean. But the kids and his attitude towards the police are only part of the problem. The other part is his parents constantly making excuses for him and getting him out of everything. I know they want to protect their child, who knows maybe I would do the same, but they are hurting him more than helping him

ReplyHis parents must be so proud. AGAIN. I still remember is mother standing up to the BOE claiming her son would never do anything wrong. Wait, I am sure it is not true and it is someone else fault. That is it parents, keep your head in the sand.

Carly?!?!?!? How long do we have to wait for this "REAL" story. It has been Didn't this happen in Oct 2011. Come on now almost 18 months and we are still waiting for the "Real" story you all claim will come out soon. Get over it already. Not one person believes there is another "real" story.
