ReplyBeech Terrace (about 25 homes) got power this morning Well, they kind of got power last evening for an hour but then it went out again taking other homes in the area along with them...so in other words JCPL went backwards for a day

Me too! Still powerless. There is no way 80% have been restored. If yes, then its another indication that my road is always the last in Wayne to get power. (seriously, with Irene there were 30 houses left on the grid, and they were ours!-8 days then)

Richard only parts of Pines Lake have power, much of it doesn't, including my road. The people there I know that do have power are mostly PSEG folks. Haven't seen any JCPL trucks at all around me. Last year my area didn't see power for 7-8 days, so I'm expecting 12 this time : (

Interesting comment by Scondo. If your power went back on in 2 days by JCPL why did they leave Pines Lake and not come back for 10 days to turn it on for the rest of the immediate neighborhood? The answer is because they are incompetent and mismanaged. I want them out of town.
