On the article Mayor: Township Is Top Priority Despite Absence

If you don't have the courage to attach your real name to your comments you shouldn't be posting at all positive or negative. How do I know your not just the mayor trying to make himself look better or the town clown kevin nedd trying to stir the pot. Seemed funny to me when I saw it on the HBO show "The Newsroom" because until now I never really followed the comments sections of "news" sites like the Patch. Amazing the courage some people have to speak to their beliefs only to then hide behind a fake name

i commend these activities. BUT there was NO absolutely NONE about what was being done to get power back to our schools and clear major thoroughfares through town. Only about 9 days later and then all we got was garbage JCP&L propoganda passed along by the mayor. The town "leadership" did nothing to hold JCP&L's feet to the fire. And PLEASE, PLEASE don't give me the AM radio garbage again as an example of effective communication. This isn't 1972

ReplyThe text alerts have been a big improvement over last year however we are still not getting any reliable info on power restoration status. I have never heard of wnjr. How would I even know when mayor is on. Why doesn't he have a twitter or Facebook page to disseminate info. If someone could articulate what the plan is I think it would do a lot to ease people's minds. Just being told Wednesday isn't acceptable when I can walk down the street and see 10 poles without wires and no crews in sight for 8 days to fix them.

Make sure they don't send you an estimated bill next month that will include power for the 10 plus days we have been powerless. And if they do read actual and send that.

couldn't diagree more. my daughter attends a full day kindergarten and asks repeatedly to attend the extended day as well. Couldn't be happier and is learning and retaining so much more than if she was only going to school for 2 1/2 hours a day. My two older children also attended full day K and thrived as well
