I agree with this, many schools already do it, if they have an A- or higher then they should be exempt from the final. I also agree with. BRSoccer about the basement grades.

I don't feel the job the township did was anything near tremendous. As a resident for 21 years in the Washington Valley area I felt the job they did was practically invisible. We heard & saw nothing. I received information from the county, the state , 101.5 & Patch and only 1 email from the town.
The one visible presence they could have made that would have been a help & shown they were out there was to mark the roads so that all the closures could have been navigated. The county sends texts of closures & openings, the town didn't even put up tape, cones or detour signs physically out there.

Also, just curious when did Mayor Hayes get his power back?
Would really be nasty if he pulled strings like the case in Manville
    http://www.mycentraljersey.com/viewart/20121112/NJNEWS/311120036/PSE-G-worker-accused-abuse-power-?odyssey=tab%7Ctopnews%7Ctext%7C

Also, I know many are unhappy with JCP&L and they should be, but PSE&G is not as great as everyone thinks. The numbers they reported as outages reflected the actual reports by customers of their outage. They are just better at making themselves look good at the top.

I rate the town's response as very poor. I found there was a lack of presence & poor communication. We were without power for 10 days, luckily I do have a smartphone, so between email and text alerts I was able to get some information. I received emails from PSE&G (with not much info about our area, but still received them) I received text alerts through the school's Honeywell alert system (great system, you can get text, phone calls or even emails) and I am on NJ, Somerset County and town subscription lists as well.
I received one notification from the town/mayor & that was near the end of the 1st week. What was said was really meaningless drivel. I did find his daily updates on the town's websites (also not useful) but info sent out would be better.
I have to say the biggest short coming of the town was even though they could not remove trees because of live power lines, they could have posted signs to help navigate through the town. If you lived anywhere in Washington Valley area (and this problem easily stretched into Warren and probably beyond, they weren't any better at it) you could spend 30-45 mins wasting what was precious gas at the time, just trying to get somewhere to warm up and charge your phone & get some warm nourishment. Snow emergency routes were closed and many roads you turned down ended up being blocked, but you didn't know until you reached the blocked area. Better communication with real info & road signage was needed.

Our mayor and council have done shit and have to go!!!
Some PSEG workers babysitting some downed lines said they were waiting for the town to remove trees. The town says they don't know what lines are live and won't cut the trees. At this rate nothing will happen. Now we have a new storm coming. Maybe December will be better!!!!
Solomon, Joshua, Sarah, Adrian, Argonne Fm & Arrowsmith out. (& all the lines on these streets are buried, a lot of good that does) Basically most of the Washington Valley area is still out and many roads closed. Hardly any work has been done over here even on the main lines & yes Warren looked just as bad too.
Our house is in the 40s and just getting colder. Lets add cracked pipes & if we get this storm a flooded basement to the damaged roof.
Also, PSEGs numbers only reflect the actual reported outages by homeowners, so please REPORT your outage. They are making their numbers look better than they really are.
WAKEUP MAYOR HAYES & PSEG - we have has enough.

Up along Washington Valley Rd, PSEG customers still no power. PSEG numbers are all wrong too. They make it sound like they have been amazing, but all info is conflicting from different sources. Can't get a person on the phone, only recorded message. All of Solomon, Joshua, Sarah, Adrian, Argonne Fm, Arrowsmith out. Friend on Solomon tried getting update online a few days ago for her acct & said no power outage in the area. One chart says Branchburg restored, many are out. They're numbers are skewed and inaccurate. They also do not respond to tweets, they're communication has been not what they tout it to be!!!
I feel our mayor and council have done little. The roads in Wash Valley side of town have been treacherous & dangerous. They could have marked the roads so we didn't drive through a dead end maze wasting precious gas just to get food and warm up. Feel completely stranded.
Tomorrow I am voting EVERY INCUMBENT (except school board) OUT!!!!!!
7 days without any help from the town & no real/true info from PSEG.

Solomon Dr, Joshua Ln, Sarah Ct, Adrian Terr, Argonne Fm Rd, Arrowsmith Dr & most of Washington Valley Rd now power since Monday. Very difficult to get anywhere since many roads are blocked by trees and power lines. Do not see how this will be resolved anytime soon. Cold, achy, tired & hungry.
Very disappointed in our mayor & council too.
I say on Tuesday we vote out any incumbent in office. It's time we get new blood in there to work for our town!

I also don't believe their numbers, our group of streets are 50+ homes alone (& the outages are for miles around me) when my neighbor checked online today, under her account, it listed there are no outages in your area.......seriously!!!!!

Bridgewater is seeing the same as Warren, Bernardsville and neighboring towns.
Can't get through roads, being told 11/7 for ETR.
haven't seen anyone to even start removing the trees. The amount of damage with nothing having been done in 5+ days, I don't see how 11/7 is realistic anymore!!
I say vote ALL incumbents out, they have proven useless.
