Thanks for the tip Meg. I will call right now. One would have thought our town Councilwoman for the 4th Ward of Morristown, Allison Deeb would have offered this same advice. Thank you for staying on top of this. The only thing she is interested in is the letterhead on the top of her stationary. Total self-promoter all talk no action. On our community blog her response to the residents was "If you are so dissatisfied with the current power situation or with living here (in Morristown) perhaps you may want to reconsider your own situation. I can't control the weather or JCPL" You have to love local politicians at work for the people.

Trees and wires still down on Headley Road and have not been touched. All of Lidgerwood and portions of Windmill Pond still without power. Is this Morristown, NJ or Mumbai India? JCPL lets go here!!!!!!!!!

Poles and wires still down on Headley Road. Continued power loss to Lidgerwood and Windmill Pond. Barnegat Twp just went back on-line today which is across the bay from LBI and experienced major surge, flooding and wind damage. Happy for the good people in Barnegat. Just frustrated that our civic leaders in Morristown can no better look out for their own.

Dougherty's claims of being "powerless" are all too common. He also claimed he was powerless to challenge JCP&L after the power outages in August and October. So weak. I do not think the filming is the end of the world (although possibly an inconvenience) but it certainly will not showcase Morristown in any favorable way. Anyone who thinks it will positively impact the community is mistaken. Morristown the new winter camp for the Seaside Heights scumbags?
