turkey is about $1 a pound, so figure 10 bucks for a turkey and how much would some stuffing, some form of potato and some cranberrys cost? not that much. You have to realize that just because we(myself included) overindulge on an extravagant T-giving meal, it is not the norm for the country. Most people are struggling to put any food on the table let alone being able to afford the luxury of overindulgence on a holiday.

ReplyGee, I could have told you that from when JCP&L told me i'd have power 6 days ago, yet im still in the cold and dark. Thanks Mayor for the useless information. Hows all that power and warmth in your house? Bet you had every worker at your house to make sure you were in comfort while another storm with 50mph winds hits us and dumps some snow on us. Pretty metophorical considering how you dump on us with no info or concern

"I would personally like to thank our first responders who have been working long hard hours to maintain your safety and security"
Mayor - how has my safety and security been maintained while i have no power or heat? Its quite the opposite actually. Why dont you for one second stop being a polititian and try being a person. flood of calls I have received from residents commending the Township employees for their exceptional response has been overwhelming??? I have not seen a truck in my area of towaco for 8 days now. What about my area that isnt near a school mayor?? so you are saying we are not as important then? A nor'easter is coming tomorrow and if i dont have power i will probably freeze to death. I will remember this when your term is up, that is if im not dead by friday. Thanks for nothing. Id bet all the money in the world that your palace/mansion of a home is well lit and the power is flowing.....probably at the expense of others.

ReplyThe article stated it would state the "issues that affect montville and morris county" while having a one liner at the end of the article talking about economy and job growth? Thats a pretty poor reporting job.
as a side note, I noticed that the montville B.O.E. members are running unopposed. Considering the shameful way they handled issues at montville high school concerning the coaches, protecting our students and other extremely important issues, this is such a joke. Montville is turning into the new bergen county. Congrats to the people who laugh when they get elected b/c they probably do not care about you or I.

ReplyStill no power in montville township, no power for our schools and a nor'easter is coming in a couple days. Im sure our town mayor made sure his power was up and running real fast. We have not seen any trucks in the week its been since the storm and there are utitily poles still laying on the ground. Good to see ravaged towns such as atlantic city has full power back and they made the casinos a priority so the money machine can keep churning while NJ's citizens are cold and hungry. We need to have another option besides this monopoly known as JCP&L. I hope we vote everyone doesnt forget this come election time.

stop telling me what to do!! JCP&L is a terrible company who has been responding slower than grass grows. Yay, we got 3% of the people back with power. That may be acceptable to you but we have higher expectations here.

what does playing football and doing homework in the afternoon have to do with sleep. This is a time management issue. If anything, have your kids go to bed earlier or cut out all the TV and video games to better utiilize what time you do have. This is a real world skill. Your job doesnt work around your schedule to make sure you are getting enough sleep
