ReplySo you all know. Jcpl (first energy) plan to file a rate hike request by dec 1 and use sandy cost as a reason for it! How do they look at themselves in the mirror?

ReplyJust to make even more people love jcpl. First energy, their parent company, had a management/earning call recently. They said on the call that they plan to file a rate hike request by December 1st and use the sandy damage/cost as a reason for the rate hike. Now that's service.

ReplyMayor short in long valley needs should be fired and removed from office. He's not equipped to handle crisis. He has no plan and no abely to communicate. This is a major communication debacle.

ReplyI called Scott, 610-921-6902, he was the most helpful Jcpl guy I talked to ever. For Washington township, long valley, they are saying Sunday for power in general and that they are not even working in long valley. For Naughright and Mission, they have no estimates when they will begin work there. Hey Mayor Short, jcpl telling customers they are are working in Chester, but not long valley. How do you feel about that. Nice job your doing hiding from us all.

ReplyThe whole problem is a question of information communication. JCPL does not communicate with its customers, the Long Valley Mayor does not communicate with his town. The workers work long hours under bad circumstances. they work hard, its a classic management problem, and management team with in a monopoly are the worst kind of management.

ReplyDont believe them at all. JCPL has no incentive to change their estimate as there is nothing we can do anyway if its wrong. I called JCPL and they wont even tell me the address of the "field offices" to get us specific work information? They said that customers dont need to know where the field offices are dont need to know status updates from the field workers and dont need to know how restoration is prioritized! Apparently we're only customers who dont deserve information. The Mayor of LV has proven to be useless.

More of the same from teacher representatives. Union try to push town around to make sure they get raises yes with out providing additional service. Most public unions assume tax payers are just a credit card that can use every year. Town and Board need to continue up to their bully ways.
