ReplySorry LV Mom. I think you are generalizing about children in WM. My children have cousins on every almost continent, they travel outside of the country with either family or school every summer, and thanks to social networking have friends living in far flung places. The number of WM children who travel on school organized trips is huge. Boy Scouts has allowed them the opportunity to hike in the NM mountains, sail in the Florida keys and hike the forests of MN. I envy the opportunities my kids have had to see other places and meet new people. i didnt at their age. Great if you think homeschooling works for your kid. Arent we lucky that we get to make the choices we think best for our own kids.

ReplyThe anger in these postings typifies what is wrong with this country. We go through life spitting venom at each other. For those on the fringe, they cannot express themselves angrily on a website, instead they take an all too available gun and head to an elementary school. Remember peace on earth, goodwill to all men.

ReplySomeone explain to me why there is power on hacklebarney but not on nesrlingwood. What about doing repairs that impact the most people first? How are these repairs being prioritized if wooded valley, one of the biggest neighborhoods in town is still without power.

Mr.Stone, she used her sick days because her 8 year old passed away lest spring. And yes, sick day donations are not uncommon in schools districts.
