When these unspeakable incident occur, they must be brought out to the open and spoken about. These are teachable moments.
We are chipping away at the basic foundation of society: no respect, no civility.......society cannot functiion without a strong foundation of one simple virtue.....The Golden Rule....simple, but apparently not.
So we need, as adults, as young adults, as parents, as teachers, as guides and children, to remind each other of the simple fact that we all are part of the Family of Man.
And that can be taught in every subject at home, at school, at libraries and at Houses of Workship.Everywhere, and each day.
To all of you, and esp. to Eileen : amen
thank you for your coverage.....I seem not to be able to put my comment into the comment box....would it be possible for you to do it? or to tell me how? I would love for you to contact me, as I have a bit of feedback for you when you have the opportunity

Hi Ellen,
Thanks for coming out last night to take pictures for the upcoming article about the College Planning presentation. I enjoyed meeting you and appreciate your efforts on my behalf. I think the seminar went well with lots of good questions & lively discussion. I'd be willing to host another one if we could get the word out to families in the district. Would you email me please?

Thanks very much and let me know if I can help in any way.
Sincerely,
