ReplyCory Booker owes the boys at Bain Capital some payback. The Newark Watershed is one of the most pristine pieces of real estate in New Jersey. Booker's fifth vote in the guise of Shanique Speight will enable him to sell off the water rights of the people of Newark. The people have made it quite clear to Booker that they do not want this!

ReplyBooker is madly desperate to get a speaking spot at the Democratic national convention. Booker is whining that he's been shut out of the Dem Convention spotlight. Get a clue, Cory. Team Obama is right to be cautious about Booker. He has an obsssessive need to be in front of a camera.

ReplyBooker is neither a Democrat or a Republican. He is an opportunist for whatever affords him the biggest media buzz bang. Booker utilizes tragic fires or phony car crash "rescues" to keep his name in the spin. The act has grown stale and it is quite "nauseating." Who uses the misfortunes of people to hype themselves? It demonstrates a shallow character. Notice that Booker is very selective about what circumstances he comes forward on. There have been a series of recent shootings on the streets of Newark to which there was silence from the perpetually out-of-town Twitter King. But Booker came forward for the tragic fire because the story was picked up by national media. No one is more of a fame addict than Mr. Booker. He selectively capitalizes from the tragedies of Newarkers. For shame.

ReplyBain Capital invested more than half a million dollars in Cory Booker, and he earned his keep by throwing the Obama campaign under the bus on "Meet the Press." I'm scratching my head trying to figure out his appointment to the Dem platform committee. Perhaps to keep an eye on him less he get "nauseated" again.

Booker's not exactly doing it all out of the goodness of his heart. More for his pocketbook. He gets at least between $20,000 and $30,000 in speech fees. A couple of years ago he raised a big stink when he charged a public university; I think he had to return the money.
