ReplyA good deli in the valley. Just some place that I don't always have to go up the mountain or into Chester for cold cuts/lunch meat.

ReplyA bend that is worse than the Big turn on Schooley's Mtn. Rd., is the one on Middle Valley Rd. Called woodpecker's bend or turn? I forget.

ReplyI usually say I'm from Long Valley for exactly that reason, Dave K.^^^
To avoid the confusion of which Washington Twp. It gets too complicated to say ....."well, my mailing address is Califon, my physical address is Wash.Twp, the Wash.Twp. in Morris County," etc.. And then there's Washington Borough. -

ReplyHi Mom of 3, and welcome!
There are three K-5 schools in Long Valley (Washington Twp.). Old Farmers Rd. School (8:50 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.), B.A. Cucinella (7:50 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.) and Flocktown-Kossman (7:50 a.m. - 2;10 p.m.) Flocktown-Kossman is actually 2 buildings.

ReplyI agree with FAP. Maybe should have had another choice in the poll - " Shop retailers/e-tailers that chose to not impose the fee".
I guess we'll have to see how this all pans out. -

It would be nice if there were a few more options for teens in our town. My teen has gone to the Fuzzbox quite a few times. It's usually open on Friday nights, and is a nice place for the kids to hang out with a chaperone. Also, some of the kids go to the "open mic night" they have at The Studio in town. But that's always on a Tues night, and really too late for a school night.
The movies are another option, but gets expensive.
