Al as I said the other night, when we spoke together at the meeting, I think we are heading down a very slippery slope. It can be very difficult climbing back up that slippery slope once you have slid too far.

Hard to believe that the majority of the board has decided to go along with Dr. Gonzalez and put into place one of the most radical plans I have seen since moving to Wayne over 15 years ago. I did have a chance when leaving the meeting last night to speak with one of the board members and voice my feelings on this change. I truly appreciate the board member taking the time at such a late hour to speak with me. Though we do disagree on this change and how it will affect the district I was able to see the other side of the coin. I hope that I am proved wrong and that this change does improve our school district for our children but with all the teachers, doctors, principals and parents that spoke out against it, I have a very bad feeling.

Paul I was on Terhune last night when they tripped the system and the whole area went black. I watched as neighborhoods went black as the system piggy backed on its self. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Some areas came back up but others stayed dark. Did the crews stay. no!!!!!!!!!! They left knowing the system was crashing. This morning system at 6:30 comes on and off 5 times and then out again. Something is very wrong with their system. We here in Wayne deserve much better from our power company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First thanks to the mayor, town council and assemblyman Rumana for all you did to advocate for the town. J.C.P.L. has to go!!!!!!!!!! Last night on Terhune 12 trucks and what happens???? They trip the system and all of Pines Lake area goes black again!!!!!!!!!!! Some homes did come back up but many did not Something is wrong with their system and it has to be fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel for the folks on Beech Ter. They were out since the storm, had power for 10 minutes and then back into the dark. Just not right!!!!!!!!!!! I say all Wayne J.C.P.L. customers should make a trip to their headquarters in Morristown , with the press, and say enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe with us all in a large group something might change. Too many people since the storm with no power. J.C.P.L. it is just not right!!

Thanks Scott for looking out for all the folks down stream. Nice to know that there is someone out there taking the bull by the horns. Now how about power.??? So wrong for so many people in J.C.P.L. area to not have power. I know the mayor has done every thing possible but someone needs to get J.C.P.L. attention. I think it is time for the pit bull

I have been all over Wayne with my job and Wayne is not ready to have the kids back in school. The town in many areas still needs to be cleaned up and many places still have no power. Also there are many wires down and is it safe to have kids walking to the bus stop over wires. I understand the children need to be back in school but lets make sure it is safe for our children first.

This is the worse storm that New Jersey has seen and all people want to talk is politics. Folks leave the politics at the door. We all need to do whatever it takes to help each other get back on our feet. If the President of our great country wants to come and see the devistation for himself we should welcome him. We need whatever help we can get, to get thru these very difficult times. I am proud to say I am voting for Romney but am happy to see President Obama coming to see what us New Jersey folks are going thru. Lets give the President the benefit of the doubt and belive he is here to truly help us thru a very difficult time.
