Resident: Hudson and Costa will 'Listen' to Our Concerns If Elected

Hudson and Costa are running for election to the Bloomingdale Council.

To the Editor:

On Nov. 5 I will be casting my vote for Dawn Hudson and Tony Costa who I feel are the right choice for Bloomingdale Council.

I met Dawn and her family over six years ago, when our sons attended preschool together, and we immediately became friends. Since then, I’ve gotten to know Dawn very well and can absolutely attest that she is more than qualified to take one of the Bloomingdale council seats. As long as I’ve known her she has been actively volunteering in our town, including on the Bloomingdale Fire Department’s Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Bloomingdale Health Department.

Lucky for us, after moving around from state to state, Dawn has finally settled down here, with her husband (a lifelong resident) and their two children, and is willing to help make Bloomingdale a better place for us to live.

Running for town council is a serious and important undertaking because local decisions touch us all. I know that Dawn and Tony will demand fiscal responsibility and accountability from our town government. In addition, Dawn and Tony will listen to and work with the residents of our town on all important issues that we will come to face.

Please join me in voting for Dawn and Tony, who will make a brighter future for Bloomingdale.
